Maintenance of epoxy floor
Dec 07, 2021
After the epoxy floor is completed and delivered for use, maintenance and cleaning should be adhered to to ensure that the workshop environment is tidy and a truly clean production environment. At the same time, including daily ground maintenance work in the daily management system will help extend the service life of the floor, reduce the repair rate, and ensure the smooth progress of production. The maintenance of the floor is as important as the maintenance of the equipment. The following are some of the grounds Main items of floor maintenance:
1. If there is sand, mud, and debris on the ground, it should be cleaned up in time to prevent it from damaging the ground and prevent hard and sharp objects from directly rubbing the ground.
2. Employees should change soft-soled shoes before entering the production area; set up (plastic) carpets at the junctions, entrances and exits where sand and mud are easy to be brought in to facilitate the removal of shoe soles when they enter and exit. The normal operating temperature of epoxy floor is below 100℃, so for areas that often need electric welding or oxygen cutting, high-temperature insulation mats should be laid on the ground.
3. When unloading forklifts and forklifts, pay attention to the goods being placed flat, and should be on the ground with high temperature resistant isolation pads to avoid side nephews of the goods and scratching the ground.
4. Try to avoid emergency braking when vehicles, forklifts and forklifts are running. The casters of various carts or trailers must be made of rubber and soft material with a wide bearing surface and a certain degree of elasticity. They must be driven at a slow speed and avoid sudden braking or sharp turns.
5. All hard objects: such as iron chairs, iron tables, iron shelves, etc., whose feet must be wrapped with soft plastic or rubber to avoid scratching the ground during use; the engine board must be fully lifted off the ground when turning. Please pay special attention to the corners of the machine board not to scratch the ground;
6. Frequently clean the parts with oil leakage and sawdust to avoid oil denaturation, adsorption of ash layer, and stubborn stains. For large oil-soaked areas, a wide cloth mop can be used to push the sawdust to absorb the oil on the floor. The corrosive chemicals and solvents splashed on the ground should be removed immediately. The grease spilled on the ground must be removed immediately, otherwise it will make the ground slippery and easily cause injury.
7. It is best to lay rubber pads or soft plastic pads on the floor of the machine operating table, heavy raw materials, semi-finished products or finished product storage areas.
8. The floor needs to be maintained and cleaned regularly, which can not only keep the floor beautiful and clean, but also remove the hard particles that may be present on the floor that will scratch the paint film. When cleaning the floor, please use a soft mop or a wet and dry vacuum cleaner. It can be cleaned with water or detergent (weak corrosiveness), but please pay attention to the slippery floor; 9. Before the equipment enters the factory, lay a cushion on the floor. So as not to scratch the ground during the transportation of the equipment.
