Selection And Use Of Grinding Discs

Dec 15, 2020

In floor construction, the grinder applies pressure to the ground through the grinding disc, and rotates and rubs the ground to achieve the grinding effect. The correct use and maintenance of grinding discs can reduce costs.

The number of teeth of the grinding disc determines the cutting force of the grinding disc on the ground. The more the number of teeth, the less the pressure on the ground, and it is difficult to cut the ground. When facing hard ground, it is better to choose a metal grinding disc with a small number of teeth and a low mesh number.

The grinding floor is made by rubbing the ground with grinding discs to produce scratches, using different grinding discs for repeated grinding, and continuously covering with finer scratches to achieve a smoothing effect. Each stage of grinding has a corresponding grinding disc number segment. The purpose of each number segment is to suppress the scratches of the previous number. Using grinding discs across processes may damage the ground and damage the grinding discs.

Clean the grinding disc in time after use. Dust or curing agent agglomerates will be stuck in the gap of the grinding disc. If it is not cleaned, the ground may be scratched and the grinding disc will be damaged when it is used next time.
